The National Library of Israel (NLI) opened its doors in a spectacular new building in Jerusalem just weeks after October 7, 2023. As the cultural institution responsible for collecting and preserving the historical record of Jewish civilization, the Library holds the collective memory of the Jewish people worldwide, bridging the past to our present day lives. Meet Sarah Palmer, Partnerships and Community Engagement Manager for NLI USA, in person at Beth El. Adina Kanefield, CEO of NLI USA, will join us on Zoom, along with two library staff members in Israel. They will discuss the NLI’s mission to document October 7th and its aftermath.
