North Suburban Synagogue Beth El

Dear Friends:

We are very happy to extend this invitation to you and your family to experience North Suburban Synagogue Beth El.

Our congregation is a warm, energetic community where Jews join together in an environment dedicated to the highest values of our faith.  Through worship, education, cultural activities, community events, and tzedakah related activities, we seek to create an atmosphere of caring and friendship that meets the spiritual and social needs of congregants of all ages and interests.

We have remained committed to these objectives since our beginning in 1948, when we became the first Conservative congregation on Chicago’s North Shore.  Over the years, Beth El  has become a leader in the Conservative Movement, in the American Jewish community, and in Jewish and humanitarian causes worldwide.  It is with great pride that we carry on that tradition of leadership with continued commitment to innovative programming.

We extend a personal welcome to you on behalf of our professional staff and congregation.  Please contact us if we can be of any assistance.

With best wishes,

Rabbi Vernon Kurtz and Rabbi Michael Schwab
