We wish you Mazel Tov and joy on your forthcoming marriage!
We are honored to help you prepare for the blessings of marriage and to help make your wedding personal, warm, and beautiful.
One of the first decisions you will make in preparing for your wedding is selecting a date. Please contact our office at 847-432-8900 x229 to make certain that the dates and ceremony starting times you are interested in are available. You will then speak to one of our Rabbis for the approval to have your wedding at Beth El and see if the dates you have chosen are consistent with Jewish law and tradition. We can schedule all ceremonies in the synagogue and are happy to invite the participation of other Rabbis and Hazzanim. Our Rabbis and Hazzanim also are pleased to participate in your wedding ceremony at other locations.
Please call the synagogue office to make an appointment to discuss your wedding plans: 847-432-8900, Ext. 229.
There are various ceremonies for engaged couples and their families to celebrate this exciting family milestone. One of these is the Aufruf. At our Shabbat morning service, usually the Shabbat before the wedding ceremony, the engaged couple is called to the Torah for an aliyah and the rabbinic blessing. Many couples invite their family and friends to join them for this Shabbat honor and for the kiddush that follows.
Please call the synagogue office to schedule the Aufruf: 847-432-8900, Ext. 221
We can help you plan your simcha both logistically and spiritually. Learn more about the reception areas available at Beth El and our preferred caterer, Zelda’s, by sending them an email to nssbeevents@zeldas.com.
