Got Yarn?

Got Yarn?

Got Yarn? is an informal group focused on knitting / crocheting items to help those in need. In this spirit of doing a mitzvah, all are welcome to participate. No skill level is required.

You can contribute by:

  • Knitting a chemo beanie for Sharsheret, nonprofit supporting families living with ovarian or breast cancer
  • Knitting or crocheting a winter cap or scarf* for our Annual Winter Coat Drive (*good beginner’s project)
  • Donating yarn (new purchases or unfinished projects)

Use washable acrylic or wool yarn – any color, any pattern, knit or crochet.

FINISHED?  Please wash, dry item (NO DRYER SHEETS), affix your name and email so we can thank you, and contact Leslie Fox.

Free Patterns: Yarnspirations.com, lionbrand.com, knotsoflove.org, and most brand websites.

Backstory: GOT YARN? was initiated by Sisterhood member, Leslie Fox, in 2024, to knit IDF soldier hats. At that time, over 20 people participated by knitting and hand delivering 72 hats to Michael Levin Base in Jerusalem.
