We just wanted to reach out to let you know that Nina’s Bat Mitzvah was more amazing than we even dreamed it would be!
We think you know that the idea of having her party at the synagogue was met with major resistance from Nina. She did NOT want to have it there. She felt that the synagogue was equated with Hebrew school and religiousness and seriousness-no place for a dance party. However, after meeting with you to discuss the fun food and hearing your great ideas, she was convinced. And, she was NOT sorry.
Your staff was accommodating to all our needs and last minute freak outs. Our menu was creative and reflective of our “culture” and favorite foods. When we told you we didn’t want the usual chicken or beef, you came up with an amazing alternative and we loved it. Our guests were extremely complimentary. How many times did we hear that they never knew Kosher food could taste so yummy! The presentation was lovely and the service was perfect. We can honestly say we wouldn’t have changed a thing!
We are so thrilled our synagogue has a beautiful new room to host such events and a top notch catering department to go along with it. Your team, with your leadership, was a delight to work with. No problems, no issues, no regrets. Only great things to say, happy memories, and a wonderful simcha that truly made us proud to be members of NSS Beth El.
We thank you again and look forward to many more happy occasions to celebrate at our Shul.

Thank you for ALL of your help these past 6+ months in helping us plan our wedding at Beth El. It was a fantastic experience and we were so honored to be married there.

“Thank you so much for hosting and catering our New Year’s Even wedding. The day was so special for us and we appreciate all you did in making everything so amazing and flawless. We will be recommending Beth-El as a wedding or event venue to all of our friends.”

Our daughter was married on New Year’s Eve, 2013 and our wedding was the first one catered by North Surban Syanaogue Beth El’s Circle of Life Catering. The evening was absolutely perfect. Avram Pachter was a joy to work with and made the entire process seamless. The venue is beyond georgeous–with the snow gently falling outside and visible from the back wall of windows, it was like being in a Winter Wonderland. The staff was outstanding and helped make the evening so very special. And the food—-let’s just say it was probably one of the best catered dinners (and weddings) we’ve ever attended. We are proud that North Suburban Synagogue Beth El can offer a kosher event option that not only provides real value and excellent food but also exemplifies the “mensch” factor.
