The Florence Melton Adult School of Jewish Learning: Social Justice: The Heart and Theory of Judaism in Practice
Wednesdays February 3 – May 26
This Melton course explores historical and contemporary examples of Jewish commitment to social justice through the lens of Jewish wisdom manifest in our texts. The goal is to inspire participants to take a stand and make a difference. Drawing from texts and history, topics of study include poverty, immigration, environmental degradation and more.
Class does not meet on February 17, March 24 & 31, April 7, 14 & 21.
