Repeated program for women unable to be with us on Shabbat:
Monday, November 13, 8:00 p.m. at the home of Fran Alpert.
Join Betsy Katz and Fran Alpert to find the backstory of why Sarah laughed. After a brief presentation on the text, we’ll use traditional chevruta guidelines to understand the deeper meaning of this cornerstone text of Jewish learning. We’ll close the discussion by focusing on what archaeology can tell us about the time in which Sarah was said to live and laugh!
Space is very limited for women interested in participating on Monday, so responses will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. Fran’s home address will be provided upon confirmation. RSVP for Monday evening’s session to kbweiss1023@gmail.com.
