This Sisterhood gathering will explore Talmudic and contemporary texts on the giving of both tzedakah and time. We will discuss the concept that “the more of ourselves that we give, the greater we become” (Rabbi Sacks).

With Thanksgiving the following week, we’ll focus on the joy of cooking and what we give and receive in entertaining family and friends. We’ll also consider upcoming social action and local volunteer opportunities. Bring your experiences and wisdom to share and learn with a multi-generational gathering of Beth El women!
