Mitzvah Day 2019

Sunday, February 10 was an incredible day at Beth El. This year’s annual Mitzvah Day attracted 65 PRE-registered member families and 7 walk-ins for a total of ~ 223 members and children participating!
Due to all those showing up and donating time and/or money, the following resulted:

50 Troop support boxes made
35 Project Linus blankets made
30 Welcome Home kits for Ezra made
100 sandwiches and 50 full lunches made for Night Ministry
8 dogs that spread cheer to residents at Brentwood

A special thanks to all the project leaders for running their projects so smoothly: Rochelle Rubinoff, Tracey Hendler, Dina Lissoos, Jan Channon, Janice Aronoff, Laurie Hochberg, Fran Pine, and Minde Korman. To Abby for helping to promote and to Ana for collecting registrations. And to Kathy and the facilities team for the expert set-up they performed, and Circle of Life for great refreshments!
