Beth El's Social Action Committee has been busy dreaming up new ideas for social action.  We want to take your strengths and put them to work!  Have a look at our ideas and contact Jacqueline at jkottwolle@hotmail.com if you are interested in rolling up your sleeves and getting to work!

FOR THOSE WHO LOVE TO MAKE BEAUTIFUL ROOMS

A Safe Place Women's Shelter in Lake County has two large meeting rooms that need furnishing and decorating for group meetings.  Help to create a soothing and welcoming space for women and children at risk.  Work on our 'design team' and do a mitzvah!

DO YOU HAVE A GREEN THUMB?

Gardeners can come together to build a 'mitzvah garden' right on Beth El property to grow vegetables for donation to the Ark, Maot Chittim or Moraine Township Food Bank.

ARE YOU A GOURMAND?

Ever dream of being a chef?  The Night Ministry's homeless youth shelter needs delicious hot meals to serve their residents.  Plan a menu, shop and prepare food at Beth El's kitchen for delivery to the shelter.
