Mazel Tov, Marcie! Fanny Goldstein Merit Award Celebration

Over 70 people gathered at Beth El on June 23 as Marcie Eskin received the Fanny Goldstein Merit Award from the Association of Jewish Libraries. The award, named for the librarian, social activist, and founder of National Jewish Book Month, recognizes ongoing contributions to the Association and to the field of Judaic librarianship. Essentially, it’s the Jewish Librarian of the Year Award! Beth El is especially proud to be the only institution with three recipients of this prestigious award: Rachel Kamin was honored in 2021, Cheryl Banks in 2003, and now Marcie in 2025.
