Kosher Catering on the Lake
In 1948, the founders of North Suburban Synagogue Beth El purchased a lavish mansion with stunning views of Lake Michigan to be home to their new synagogue. Since then, many additions were made including the 82 x 82 square foot Harold and Ruby Blumberg Auditorium.
Extensive renovations completed in the fall of 2013 enabled this room to take full advantage of our beautiful location on the shores of Lake Michigan. The newly refurbished Harold and Ruby Blumberg Auditorium features 19 foot floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Lake can easily seat over 350 people with a large dance floor.
The newly landscaped back patio and yard are amazing backdrops for an outdoor event. The tea house, which was original to the mansion, is a charming space for setting up a bar or for a small gathering.
