Dr. David Kraemer, the Joseph J. & Dora Abbell Librarian and Professor of Talmud & Rabbinics at the Jewish Theological Seminary, will deliver the D’var Torah on Friday night at Rinat Shabbat and the Shabbat morning sermon on Saturday, plus a Q&A session after Kiddush. Rabbi Joel Seltzer, the Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement at JTS, will also join us to teach a Shabbat Mincha study session.

Dr. Kraemer will bring us into the inner sanctum of the Rare Book Room, sharing the glories of Jewish creativity through the ages and the unexpected realities of the past to which these works testify.
