With Rabbi Jonah Rank of Hebrew Seminary.
As we close out February–Jewish Disability Awareness, Acceptance & Inclusion Month–we will study key moments in different times and places when different rabbis and Jewish laypeople made revolutionary decisions about the treatment of people with disabilities. In assessing these parts of our history, we will learn more about what the evolving Jewish tradition teaches us about our responsibilities towards individuals with disabilities today.
Rabbi Rank is the new President and Rosh Yeshiva of Chicago-based Hebrew Seminary, and he will also share more with us about Hebrew Seminary.
The seminary will be on Zoom.
