Sisterhood Chocolate Extravaganza CANCELLED

April 22, 7:00 pm

Rumor has it that Jewish traders introduced chocolate-making to France and Europe. When the Jews fled the Inquisition, they took the secrets of chocolate making with them, so it only makes sense for us to crave and explore the global nature of this confection and complex treat.

Learn where the sweet obsession with chocolate comes from and how the best chocolates are made. Discover organic, single-source and fair trade chocolates. Educate your taste buds and learn where to shop for the best chocolates to use in your kitchen.

Chef Laura will guide us through a tasting of popular chocolates. We will learn quick and easy desserts, savory uses of cacao and more. Sign up below, or make checks payable to NS Beth El Sisterhood and bring to front office attention Felissa Kreindler. This event is co-sponsored
