Hoshana Rabbah

On Friday October 9, it was the seventh day of Sukkot, the 21st day of the month of Tishrei. The day was marked with a special outdoor service, the Hoshana Rabbah, in which seven circuits were made by the worshippers with their lulav and etrog, while the congregation recited Hoshanot. The scrolls of the Torah were removed from the ark during this procession.
