New for 2010! New Certification Program for Continuing Education Courses
As of January 2010, the Continuing Education Committee will be offering a program of certification to students who enroll in various
classes at Beth El. We want to recognize members with a certificate of learning. The program will offer one credit for each classroom session of 1 or 1.5 hours. Credit will be earned by class session rather than by course, since there is variation in the number of sessions per course. A certificate of recognition will be given at Tikkun Layl Shavuot in Spring 2011. More details to follow!
NSS Beth El Receives Gold Solomon Schechter Awards
In 2009, The Gertrude Lederman Family Continuing Education Program is excited and proud our synagogue has won a third consecutive gold Solomon Schechter award in adult education from the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. NSS Beth El also won a gold Solomon Schechter award in Israel/Masorti affairs. Our congregants' participation and suggestions strengthen and enrich our programming.
