Religious School Reading Programs
“Three possessions should you prize: a field, a friend, and a book.”
Cohen Religious School students regularly visit the CLC to read and discuss Jewish books in the Pinsof Children's Reading Room, conduct research in the Maxwell Abbell Library and to work on the computers in the Susan Fisher Glick Memorial Research Center. Students are always encouraged to check out a book. In fact, during the past school year, Religious School students checked out over 700 books from our library! Parents are welcome to visit the library before, during, and after school to check out additional materials for their families. Contact Rachel Kamin, CLC Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like more information about the Religious School Library Program or would like to learn more about our Library.
Award-winning children’s author Linda Glaser will present at a “Hoppy Hanukkah” Party for Young Families at 3:30pm and to the Bet-Gesher classes during Religious School between 4:15-6:15pm. Parents are encouraged to attend. Copies of Linda Glaser’s books will be for sale before, during, and after the programs but if you would like to pre-order books for your family, please complete this form and return it, with your payment, to Rachel Kamin in the CLC by Monday, December 2. Linda Glaser will sign the books and your child will receive them on December 4.
